American Portwell Technologies' ROBO-8913VG2AR single-host board suits applications such as image processing, chemistry analysis and flight simulation.

American Portwell Technologies has released the ROBO-8913VG2AR PICMG 1.3 single-host board (SHB).

It is based on the Intel 82Q35 graphics memory controller hub, the Intel I/O controller hub 9 (ICH9) and the Intel Core2 Quad/Core2 Duo processor.

It suits applications such as image processing, chemistry analysis and flight simulation.

High-quality displays can be supported with a PCI Express x16 graphics adapter and storage can be extended with a PCI Express x4 RAID card.

The Intel I/O Controller Hub 9-DO (ICH9-DO) supports eSATA (external SATA), providing speeds five times faster than USB 2.0.
