Ibase Technology is offering the IB827, a PICMG1.0 full-size slot CPU card configured with the Intel Atom processor N270 at 1.6GHz, FSB533 and the Mobile Intel 945GSE Express Chipset with the ICH7M.

Ibase claims this combination features more performance-per-Watt than any previous Intel x86 architecture and better graphics media support than competing low-power processors.

This full-size CPU card provides greater flexibility for developers of embedded computing solutions.

It is ideally suited for applications in the automation, industrial control, data acquisition and medical fields.

The new IB827 features Intel's Graphics Media Accelerator 950 core, making it compatible with Windows Vista Premium.

It also has a Chrontel CH7308 controller to support 24-bit dual-channel LVDS displays.

Two DDR2 DIMM sockets on board implement up to 2GB of system memory.

Advanced connectivity and expansion interfaces are provided by dual Gbit Ethernet connections, one IDE, two high-speed SATA-II, four serial ports, eight USB 2.0 ports and a CF socket.

Dimensions of the board are 122 x 338mm.
