Crystal resonators, temperature compensated crystal oscillators, crystal oscillators and dual SAW filters are now available in space saving 2.5 x 2.0mm surface mount RoHS compliant packages.

NDK offers crystal resonators, temperature compensated crystal oscillators (TCXOs), crystal oscillators (XOs) and dual SAW filters in the space saving 2.5 x 2.0mm surface mount RoHS compliant/lead-free packages.

These devices offer users an 86% reduction in board space when compared with the old 7.0 x 5.0mm packages.

The NX2520S crystal resonator is available in a frequency range 16.0-80.0MHz.

The NT2520S TCXO is available in a frequency range of 13.0-26.0MHz.

The NZ2520S XO is available in a frequency range 1.5-67.5MHz.

The WF784 dual SAW filters are designed for EGSM/DCS, GSM/EGSM and DCS/PCS handsets.

All of these devices deliver excellent frequency tolerance and stability over a broad operating temperature range, and are designed to withstand the requirements of re-flow soldering using lead-free solder.

These devices are especially designed for WCDMA/UMTS, GSM/GPRS, Edge, Bluetooth, DVB-H, GPS, MP3, RFID, TV tuner, USB, W-LAN, WiMAX and ZigBee applications found in small portable products.

"All manufacturers of components supplying the wireless market are being pushed for smaller high reliability products".

"The ultraminiature 2520 standard delivers OEMs leading edge products with mainstream availability", said Mike Walczak, President, NDK America.

Delivery for any of the 2520 products is 12 weeks ARO.

Cost for 10,000 pieces packaged tape and reel for the NX2520S series crystal resonator is approximately $0.59 each, for the NT2520S series TCXO is approximately $1.45 each, for the NZ2520S series XO is approximately $1.20 each, and for the WF784 dual SAW filters is approximately $0.65 each.
