Using innovative synchronous rectifier circuit technology, the Lambda PG-10 surface-mount DC/DC power module achieves 88% efficiency on the 5V output model.
Using innovative synchronous rectifier circuit technology, the Lambda PG-10 surface-mount DC/DC power module achieves 88% efficiency on the 5V output model.
Measuring just 28.0 x 8.7 x 37.7mm, the ultracompact module is ideal for next generation telecomms infrastructure applications and similar high-speed digital systems.
Ed Wright, Lambda's Business Development Manager said: "The new PG-10 is at the cutting edge of DC/DC convertor technology and is undoubtedly a world class product.

The latest technology is backed by Lambda's philosophy of design for manufacturing, resulting in not only a very high quality product but one which is also very keenly priced".
The PG-10 offers a wide choice of output voltages selectable from a range of 1.2 to 5V with power output ratings from 4.2 to 10W.
The new DC/DC convertor supports parallel operation and features output alarm signal and on/off control.
By cutting down waste heat at source the PG-10 only requires convection cooling, eliminating the need for a space consuming heatsink.
The power module has full overcurrent and overvoltage protection and complies with a host of safety standards including UL1950 and CSA950.
This tough device is designed to operate over a wide temperature range of -40 to +85øC.
