An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release K78xx-2000 series replaces linear regulators from Mornsun, which we summarised at the time by saying "Mornsun's K78xx-2000 series of three-terminal switching regulators are designed to provide an efficient drop-in replacement for linear regulators. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release DC/DC power supply for wind energy applications from Campbell Collins: "Campbell Collins is offering a DC/DC power supply from MTM Power that is intended for wind energy applications utilising high-voltage Li-ion batteries or ultra-capacitor energy storage. ".
In October 2010, we covered the news from VXI Power - take a look at VXI introduces 200W switch-mode PSU which says: "VXI Power has expanded its Oracle range of battery-backed switch-mode power supplies with the addition of a 200W model suitable for use in telemetry applications. ".
Take a look also at the news release from International Rectifier, IR develops high-efficiency POL voltage regulators, as well as IGBT modules target renewable energies and CAV from Infineon Technologies, and Infineon diodes enable AC/DC power-conversion apps from Infineon Technologies.
