Two new compact and economical 1U systems are billed as ideal network appliances for anti-spam, anti-virus and traffic management (SMB) and as application servers.

Two new compact and economical 1U systems are billed as ideal network appliances for anti-spam, anti-virus, traffic management (SMB) and as application servers.

Based on the Intel Pentium 4 processor, up to 3.4GHz and Intel E7210 chipset that supports 800MHz FSB with Hyper-Threading Technology, the RS-100-SF-B2 and RS-100-SF-C provide high performance at a competitive cost.

Dual Gigabit Ethernet controllers provide higher networking throughput via Intel's communication streaming architecture (CSA), which directly connects the memory controller hub to the network controller, allowing data to be transferred at a much higher rate with lower latency.

With one 64bit, 66MHz, PCI-X expansion slot, the RS-100-SF-B2 and RS-100-SF-C provide high bandwidth I/O for expansion.

Build-in SATA RAID support provides significant performance or reliability enhancements for RAID 0 or 1 configurations.

Additionally, the RS-100-SF-C supports high performance U320 SCSI hard disk drives.
