An Electronicstalk guide

Start with the news release PMC mezzanine cards for rugged implementations from BVM, which we summarised at the time by saying "BVM has updated its selection of PMC mezzanine cards, designed to add additional capability to VMEbus and CompactPCI systems.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Host controller allows notebook PC development from Renesas Technology: "Renesas' Superspeed Universal Serial Bus (USB 3.0) host controller (part number uPD720200A) enables system designers to develop notebook PCs with longer battery life and high data-transfer rates. ".

In February 2010, we covered the news from Kontron - take a look at Kontron server includes PCI Express functionality which says: "Using the PCI Express Butterfly Backplane, the Kontron Industrial Silent Server (Kiss) 2U may be equipped with up to four PCI Express x4 cards and one PCI Express x16 (PEG) card. ".

Take a look also at the news release from Pericom Semiconductor Corp, Pericom launches crystal oscillators, as well as Tetronix introduces SDLA software from Tektronix, and Harting extends cable and cable assembly range from Harting.
