Z-Communications has announced the model CRO1920C-LF RoHS-compliant VCO (voltage-controlled oscillator) in L-band.

The CRO1920C-LF operates at 1,915-1,925MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0-5V DC.

This VCO features a typical phase noise of -119dBc/Hz at 10KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 6MHz/V.

The CRO1920C-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 3dBm at 8V DC supply while drawing 18mA (typical) over the temperature range of -10 to 75C.

This VCO features typical second harmonic suppression of -15dBc and comes in Z-Communications' standard Mini-16-SM package measuring 0.5in x 0.5in x 0.22in.

It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements.

The CRO1920C-LF is suitable for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.

It is also suitable for satellite communication and fixed wireless applications that require ultra-low phase noise performance.
