Optoflash lighting products from Transfer Multisort Elektronik (TME) are based on high-power light-emitting diodes (LEDs) from manufacturers such as Seoul Semiconductor, Luxeon and Cree.

Apart from ready-to-use lighting solutions, the company also offers single OF-series LED 'bulbs'.

Designed to install in standard downlight housings, such as E27, MR16 and GU10, and suitable for a typical power-supply voltage of 12V or 230V, the LED bulbs can be used directly in ordinary lamps.

The company claims that a key advantage of Optoflash LED bulbs is their long-lasting efficiency.

After 1,000 hours of continuous operation, the initial lumen output drops only by a few per cent.

The available options include cool white (5,000-7,000K) and warm white (2,800-3,500K).

The power of the LEDs (from one to more than 10) installed in a 'bulb' ranges from 1W to 4W.

An example of a ready-to-use light solution is the OF-BM361xxS12 wall illuminator, which is available in different colours and colour temperatures, including cool white, warm white, red, green, blue and yellow.

The wall illuminator is equipped with a two-contact connection and may be supplied for 85-250VAC power sources.

Its light panel consists of 36 1W high-power LEDs.

The wall illuminator is protected by an aluminium housing.
