The new TemBreak Plus range of MCCBs from Terasaki are designed for the most extreme applications in industry.
These breakers can be used to protect electrical systems where prospective short circuit current levels are as high as 85,000A.
(Ics = 85kA at 440V, according to IEC947-2).
TemBreak Plus breakers are not only designed to interrupt high fault currents, they can be the foundation of a fully co-ordinated electrical system.
The ratio between current ratings of consecutive feeders can be as low as 2:1 and still provide full selectivity.
Incredibly, this level of performance - only claimed by fuse manufacturers in the past - weighs in at the same price as the standard TemBreak category B breaker! TemBreak Plus is a performance enhanced version of the TemBreak MCCB.
Current users will be glad to know that TemBreak Plus frame sizes, mounting bases and motor operators and accessories are all fully compatible with TemBreak.
