NDK America and NDK Crystal have moved into their new Belvidere, Illinois facility ahead of schedule.
NDK America and NDK Crystal have moved into their new Belvidere, Illinois facility ahead of schedule.
The construction of the facility started in April 2002 and was completed 9 months ahead of the original April 2004 estimated completion date.
This new facility combines sales/marketing, research and development, a design centre, manufacturing, warehousing, and the executive office functions.
The building project, announced in December 2001, at a significant investment, covers 5500m2 with 3400m2 devoted to manufacturing.
NDK manufactures frequency control devices used in electronic devices such as mobile phones.
At the heart of these devices is a crystal that generates the frequency.
The new NDK facility will house the world's latest autoclave technology that will produce the highest quality synthetic quartz crystals in the world.
