Tyco will sell Hirose IT3 as Strada MZConn3
A Tyco Electronics UK product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Feb 6, 2009
Tyco Electronics will make, market and sell the Hirose IT3 mezzanine connector system under the Tyco brand name of the Strada MZConn3 connector system.
This is the result of a second source agreement between Tyco Electronics and Hirose Electric.
The companies will share the design and manufacturing processes to deliver intermateable, electrically and mechanically interchangeable products to the market as quickly as possible.
Tooled versions of the product from the second source are expected to be available in mid-2009.
