When combined with other IPs such as RISC CPU, DSP, Serial ATA and Ethernet in Faraday's IP portfolio, USB2.0 PHYs and controllers deliver a complete, low-power and small-die-sized solution for SoC designs.

"Faraday has been doing great in accumulating abundant IP portfolio and the system integration techniques, and as Faraday march into advanced process nodes, we look forward to closer relationship with Faraday", said Jason Lu, Vice President at PixArt.

"We are glad that we have entered into a milestone with PixArt in terms of USB project co-operation".

"The experience with PixArt proves that Faraday is on the right track and we will continue investing more dedicated resources to expand our influence in this IP supply chain, which shall contribute to our customers' success in market and their product competitiveness", said HS Wang, Vice President of IP Business and IP Technology at Faraday.

Faraday's USB OTG PHY and Controller IP are silicon proven in UMC 0.25um, 0.18um, 0.13um, and 90nm processes, while the 65nm USB OTG PHY IP will be available soon in 2007.
