The PCA-6185 is a full-sized Pentium 4 SBC with a range of features including a 64bit PCI-X interface, Hyper-Threading technology and onboard Ultra 320 SCSI and dual-port Gigabit Ethernet interfaces.
The PCA-6185 is a full-sized Pentium 4 single-board computer that offers a wide range of features including a 64bit PCI-X interface, Hyper-Threading technology and onboard Ultra 320 SCSI and dual port Gigabit Ethernet interfaces.
The new board is designed to meet the demand for embedded applications where ultra-fast, high performance networking and industrial features are primary concerns.
The PCA-6185 supports Intel Pentium 4 processors up to 3.06GHz and the Hyper-Threading technology enables multithreaded software applications to execute threads in parallel, enabling much more efficient use of processor resources and faster response times.
The highly integrated onboard dual-port Gigabit Ethernet and Ultra 320 SCSI both run at 100MHz on a dedicated PCI-X bus, eliminating any bandwidth bottlenecks to network and storage devices.
A separate PCI-X is used for user addon cards and a wide choice of backplanes enables users to build systems from two to 16 PCI slots to meet the expansion requirements of specific applications.
Other onboard features include up to 4Gbyte registered DDR memory support, onboard VGA display, two-channel ATA 100 IDE interfaces, four USB ports, two serial ports, one parallel port and one keyboard/mouse port.
Connectivity to Advantech's SNMP-1000 (Simple Network Management Protocol) intelligent HTTP/SNMP system manager enables users to remotely manage and monitor the system through a web page via their network connection.
The onboard watchdog timer can be used to monitor software performance.
Available now, Advantech's PCA-6185 can operate in temperatures ranging from 0 to 60C.
