PExprt SV is a functional subset of Ansoft's commercially distributed software for the electronic design and analysis of transformers, inductors and other magnetic components used in power electronics.

PExprt SV helps students and early-career professionals to develop skills necessary to design magnetic components and to comprehend how the component and circuit interact.

PExprt SV highlights include: the ability to design components based on waveform or convertor input; the facility to evaluate interleaving, winding stacking, losses and temperature; the facility to determine winding, core and eddy current losses; and the option to export a netlist for circuit evaluation in Simplorer.
