Aspen Electronics has announced its range of ultra-stable, ultra-low-noise amplifiers, targeted at high-reliability applications.

Frequency bands range from 1.0 to 2.9GHz and noise figures are 0.3dB typical to 0.5dB maximum, depending on the model.

The amplifiers feature multiple frequency, gain and other options including variable gain control, input-limiter protection, integrated bias-T detectors, RF mute and TTL control.

Units can also be customised at no extra charge.

Additional technical specifications include: gain of 30 to 40dB minimum, 32 to 42dB typical; gain flatness of +/-1.0dB; and typical current output of 60 or 120mA, 12/15V DC.

All models include internal voltage regulation and reverse-polarity protection.

The amplifiers are aimed at applications such as radar, wireless communications, satellite communications and test instrumentation in commercial, medical, military, avionics and space sectors.

Environmental screening is available as an option.
