A high-performance DC fan from ADDA that is suitable for cooling densely packed enclosures is now available in the UK from Aerco.

The AD 12738 series is built in a 127mm x 127mm x 38mm frame size, has a rotor speed of 4,500rev/min, produces airflow of up to 114 litres/s (242cfm) at 150 Pa, and is suitable for operating in confined spaces where high pressures occur.

Versions are available with supply voltages of 12V, 24V and 48V and the presence of tachometer and fan-failure signal wires mean that the AD 12738 can be incorporated into 'intelligent' cooling systems.

High-quality ball bearings provide a life of 70,000 hours at 40C.
