EMKA's series of 1050 hinges is specifically intended for use on doors that are set flush into a frame, either on a cabinet or on equipment such as machine guards or access panels.
The hinges are externally mounted and designed with a low profile and concealed pivot pins.

Sub-families such as the 1056 references feature blind stainless-steel pins (for increased security) and allow various fixing methods, including countersunk screws, concealed studs or integral rivets.
The hinges come in many sizes and selection is dependant upon the door type or size.
Large or multiple hinges may be used if needed; for example, on acoustic canopies, chambers and so on.
The 1056 series includes hinges to suit standard aluminium profiles used by major control equipment manufacturers.
EMKA provides a selection of different materials within the 1050 range to address the needs of specific applications.
These include zinc diecast, available in powder paint or chrome finish, polyamide and stainless steel.
Where flush doors require adjustment for fit, EMKA can offer 1050 hinges with two- and three-dimensional adjustment to enable correct fit and gasket sealing to be achieved.
