Start with the news release Linear unveils dual IR/baseband receiver subsystem from Linear Technology Corp, which we summarised at the time by saying "Linear Technology has introduced the LTM9002 dual infrared (IR)/baseband receiver subsystem.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release RandS system tests monopulse radar receivers from Rohde and Schwarz: "At this year's Productronica exhibition, Rohde and Schwarz will present a flexibly configurable system solution for testing receivers in radar systems. ".
 
In October 2009, we covered the news from Hamamatsu Photonics UK - take a look at Hamamatsu releases the G10518 photodiode receivers which says: "Hamamatsu Photonics' G10518 series of 10Gbps Ingaas PIN photodiode receivers is mounted in industry-standard Rosa (receiver optical sub-assembly) packages.".
