Dallab's new DBH-80 Bluetooth headset provides crisp sound and high quality talk time for wireless and hands-free phone conversations.

Lightweight, it is comfortable to wear and adjusts to fit either ear.

It also features voice activation functions making it a true hands-free solution.

This user-friendly solution meets the legal requirements in many countries for hands-free phone conversations when driving.

The DBH-80 Bluetooth headset takes full advantage of Xemics' ultra-low-power Bluetooth circuits functioning on a single 150mAh Ni-MH cell operating down to 0.9V.

As it is fully compliant to the Bluetooth specifications, the headset will work with any Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone supporting the headset and/or hands-free profile.

"With the Bluetooth-enabled handset market expected to rise to 15% of the total handset market in 2004 according to the ARC Group, the numbers of headset should rise accordingly and Dallab has positioned itself to grab a significant portion of this market", says Brian Cheng, Business Development Manager of Dallab.

"With more than 5 hours talk time, our wireless, comfortable, stylish and affordable headset is designed for use in daily life and people will enjoy it".

All hands-free profile features are supported and easily accessible thanks to the comfortable man machine interface (MMI).

For end user convenience a well thought out three button design was chosen which allows easy access to the volume control and phone answer/end buttons.

The flexible chip architecture from Xemics enables the MMI to be changed easily.

Dallab is committed to work on designs using Xemics' next generation Bluetooth chipset to take full advantage of the superior ultra-low-power capability.

Dallab is embracing Xemics' technology in all its communication products.

This includes various headsets, Bluetooth OEM modules, and the Dallab PDA Smartphone product range, which runs on the Intel PXA Architecture and Windows Mobile OS.
