One of the smallest rotary switches available will suit applications where size and reliability are important.

New to Knitter Switch's extensive range of rotary switch products is the SMR 1-30 surface-mount microminiature switch.

With a body size of just 5 x 5 x 3mm high, the new switch is one of the smallest rotary switches available and will suit those applications where size and reliability are important.

These include medical products such as hearing-aids and measuring devices such as multimeters where the switch can be used for channel or mode selection.

The SMR 1-30 is an RoHS compliant two-position SMD switch designed to be washable and lead-free solderable.

Switching contacts are rated at 12V DC/50mA (minimum 20mV DC/5A), and contact resistance is 100mohm.

Insulation resistance is 50Gohm, dielectric strength 500V AC for 1min and operating temperature range is -30 to +85C.

Mechanical life is a minimum of 800 operations.

The switch case is made from washable PPS thermoplastic to UL94V0, and the frame is stainless steel.

The terminals are tin plated over nickel barrier and the contacts are gold plated over nickel barrier.

Knitter Switch rotary switches are available from stock and from a number of distributors throughout Europe.

Samples are usually available on next day delivery.
