Ikonvergenz has appointed Promate Electronic as representative to extend its reach in Taiwan.
Ikonvergenz, the first Singapore-based R and D Centre to offer production-ready IDTV (integrated digital TV) solutions to TV manufacturers for immediate production, has appointed Promate Electronic as representative to extend its reach in Taiwan.
Promate's customers will be able to immediately address global TV demands with field-tested solutions, thus saving valuable resources in R and D to focus on other areas.
"Our experience and knowhow allows our solutions to address the global TV markets efficiently and effectively, meeting the respective stringent market requirements", said Torsten Frings, Managing Director of Ikonvergenz.
"Field-tested and fully compliant solutions save TV manufacturers time and money when providing complete TVs to the respective markets".

Although Ikonvergenz already has customers in Taiwan, the partnership aims to broaden the reach as Promate has a ready pool of TV manufacturers that will benefit from Ikonvergenz solutions.
TV manufacturers can now address any digital (DVB-T/ATSC) and analogue (Pal/NTSC/Secam) requirements even with limited or no resources and experience.
