Elma launches one-slot power and ground backplane

Elma Electronic has expanded its VPX backplane product line with a one-slot power and ground version, the 7U.
All of the pins on the backplane are user defined, with has power studs for 3.3, 5 and 12V, and the rear connectors are fully loaded.
The development backplane comes in a one-slot size, with four, five and six-slot versions planned.
Elma also plans to offer VPX power and ground backplanes in a 3U form factor.
All of Elma's VPX backplanes are compliant to the latest VITA 46 specifications.
The company also offers 3U and 6U VPX backplanes, test extender boards, load boards, air baffles and Serdes test modules.
