A new touch screen solution supports most popular operating systems for portable devices, including WinCE.net and Windows XP Tablet PC Edition.
Four interfaces are available: serial RS232, USB, PS2 and I2C.
Manufacturers of mobile devices can use eGalax's new solution now to integrate the touch panel functions into their products.
The controllers: are designed for four-, five-, six- and eight-wire touch panels; support serial I2C, RS232 and USB interfaces; feature 2048 x 2048 resolution; and have a 160 points per second report rate.
