Mean Well has introduced the SPV-150 and SPV-300 series, which are additions to the programmable output voltage range of enclosed power supplies and are now available from Ecopac Power.

The 150W and 300W AC/DC power supplies incorporate a programmable output function and, by applying a 1-5.5V DC external control, the output voltage of the SPV-150 and SPV-300 can be trimmed from 20 per cent to 10 per cent of the rated voltage.

This function gives customers the ability to program non-standard output voltages from 2.4V DC to 52.8V DC.

As well as the external adjustment option, the units can be adjusted from - 15 per cent to +10 per cent of output voltage by using the internal potential meter.

With a three-year warranty, the SPV-150 and SPV-300 series supplies up to 86.5 per cent of high efficiency and with a PFC function that fulfills the requirements of EN61000-3-2 for harmonic current.

By incorporating 'constant current limiting ' as the overload protection, the SPV series can power capacitive/inductive loads and still provide full protection for customer applications.

In addition, as the units overload protections are constant current, the SPV series can be used in battery-charging applications.

The Mean Well SPV series are supplied with worldwide safety certificates, UL, CUL, TUV, CE and CB.

Specially designed for any application that requires non-standard output voltages.
