Diwa Labs chose DxO Analyzer because it's the world's most advanced software for image quality analysis.

DxO Analyzer v3.1 has been selected by Diwa Labs as the heart of its new, independent, online test facility.

DxO Analyzer is a complete solution, including software, equipment specifications and protocols that measures all key image quality attributes of any digital camera.

Diwa's 150m test lab provides facilities for image quality analysis for digital cameras of all categories, photo printers, photo scanners, imaging software and accessories.

"The single most important performance of a camera is to capture images of high quality".

"Ironically, the single most difficult evaluation for a reviewer is to determine the camera's image quality", says Kai Thon, Diwa Test Manager in charge of Diwa Labs.

"Diwa Labs chose DxO Analyzer because it's the world's most advanced software for image quality analysis".

"It can describe any image quality parameter with exact figures and graphs and provide information needed for benchmarking and comparison with other cameras".

"This is a key element in fulfilling our commitment to producing the most comprehensive, versatile, neutral and reliable reviews of digital imaging products".

To ensure optimum data for image quality evaluation, Diwa has established one of Europe's most sophisticated testing facilities based on DxO Analyzer v3.1 software, calibrated tools and standardised routines for testing all components of the digital imaging chain: lenses, image sensors and image processors.

"DxO Analyzer is a unique diagnosis tool".

"DxO Labs is pleased to have been selected as an integral part of the new Diwa Labs testing facility", said Nicolas Touchard, VP Marketing, Image Quality Evaluation at DxO Labs.

DxO Analyzer is already a trusted solution for nine of the top 10 digital camera manufacturers, including Fujifilm, Kodak, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, Ricoh and Samsung.

A number of well-known digital photography test labs, such as Popular Photography and Imaging magazine, Chasseur d'Images, SLRgear.com, Nippon Camera and the FNAC also rely on DxO Analyzer measurements when comparing digital capture devices and publishing their results for consumers.

DxO Analyzer encompasses a comprehensive measurement set in a turnkey solution to quantify the image quality of any image capture device.

Measurements include colour, resolution (MTF) and sharpness, dynamic and tonal range, tone curve, ISO speed, noise RMS colouration and structure, flash uniformity, distortion, chromatic aberration, vignetting - and more.

Diwa Labs offers free summaries of its tests and ranking of the equipment tested to the public for consultation on the website.

Diwa members benefit from the tests results for use on their own independent websites.
