Panel potentiometers are available in a variety of constructions, and some models feature life cycles up to 100,000 rotations.
BI Technologies Electronic Components Division's panel potentiometers, offered in a wide range of sizes and configurations, are regularly specified for applications in the music industry.
Consisting of the P090, P110, P120, P140, P160 and P170 Models, the devices are available in a variety of constructions and some models feature life cycles up to 100,000 rotations.
"By offering the panel potentiometers in sizes ranging from 9 to 17mm, we are able to give our customers the switch device and size they need for a better board fit", says Barbara Wiesinger, Director of Product Development for BI Technologies Electronic Components Division.
"We also offer custom shaft configurations and custom bracket hardware, enabling us to cater to specific designs and applications, including amplifiers, electronic mixing boards and electric guitars".
All six RoHS-compliant panel potentiometer models feature linear, audio and reverse audio tapers, a conductive plastic element, and top- and side-adjust styles.
The P160 and P170 Models also feature a switch option.
The robust panel potentiometers are available with resistance ranges from 100ohms to 1Mohm and standard tolerance to +/-20%.
Maximum input voltage is 50V AC for the P090, P110, P120 and P140, and 200V AC for the P160 and P170.
The rotary potentiometers feature a rotational life ranging to 30,000 cycles (P110, P140) and 100,000 cycles (P090, P120, P160, P170), with an operating temperature range from -20 to +75C.
BI Technologies will also produce devices outside these specifications to meet customer requirements.
Typical pricing for the Model P090-P170 Series panel potentiometers ranges from US $0.25 to $0.35 depending on volume.
