Advantech has been named Microsoft Windows Embedded Partner of the Year in the Independent Hardware Vendor (IHV) category for Asia.

Advantech has been named Microsoft Windows Embedded Partner of the Year in the Independent Hardware Vendor (IHV) category for Asia.

This award is the third Advantech has received from Microsoft.

In 2001, Advantech was Partner of the Year in the same category, and in 2002, the company was Partner of the Year in the System Integrator category.

"Advantech and Microsoft have codeveloped various general embedded computing platforms that can be used in smart home networking, e-healthcare services and vehicle-mounted computing", said Jeff Chen, CTO of Advantech.

"With our solid relationship with Microsoft, Advantech will continually develop embedded computing platforms for different kinds of industries".

"We believe the strong partnership and vision of Microsoft, Advantech, and system integrators will help drive more creative applications for everybody in every aspect of our daily lives".
