The PCA-5640 is designed as a high-performance yet fanless VGA card to meet the needs of future industrial applications that require outstanding graphics performance and multiple-panel support in gaming, medical and instrumentation applications.
Powered by the ATi Mobility M10 graphics accelerator, the PCA-5640 supports AGP 8X as well as DirectX 9.
Using the latest 0.13-micron process technology, the PCA-5640's core clock speed is enhanced to 300MHz.
Incorporating 64Mbyte of high-speed DDR SDRAM, this latest industrial VGA card family member enables improved graphics quality and faster processing capability.

Advantech's PCA-5640 not only supports VGA, TV-out (S-Video port and optional composite port), DVI, CRT and LVDS (115MHz LVDS interface, 2048 x 1536 at 60MHz) video outputs, but also supports dual independent displays.
The unique low power consumption of the ATi Rage Mobility M10 means fanless designs for power conscious applications.

The PCA-5640 will be available from mid August 2004.
