A new Intel Pentium 4 based, high performance network security platform features eight front LAN ports for the enterprise market.

FWA-3180 is an ideal 1U network security appliance for firewall/VPN appliances and SME servers.

FWA-3180 comes with a socket 478 Intel Pentium 4 processor with HT technology, 3.06GHz CPU.

FWA-3180 has eight front 10/100/1000 LAN ports and an LCD display module for user friendly interface control and status display.

Additionally, the FWA-3180 supports a LAN bypass function, which prevents network problems when the platform shuts down, allowing customers to design stable network appliances.

With one PCI expansion slot, the FWA-3180 has an easy upgrade path should customers require it.

The FWA-3180 is suitable for network security appliances including firewalls, virtual private networks (VPNs) and small medium business (SMB) servers.

FWA series are designed with modular components for flexible and scalable solutions.

Customer can focus on their innovation and added value services to meet their target time to market.

The FWA-3180 will be available from mid-July.
