The MUPS-300 is a medical-grade UPS for point-of-care terminals in hospitals and medical establishments.

The MUPS-300 is a medical-grade UPS for point-of-care terminals in hospitals and medical establishments.

The MUPS-300 is a small sized uninterrupted power supply (UPS) that delivers reliable high-power backup to a variety of medical instruments, for example Advantech's POC-123/153/173 point-of-care terminals.

The MUPS-300 can switch from utility power to battery backup power in 2-4ms, including detection time, to provide that crucial bridge between power failure and generator switchover power.

One of the most essential requirements for a hospital is a reliable power source.

Sudden power shutdowns not only affect the critical loss of data and damages essential equipment, but could potentially be life threatening as well.

The MUPS-300 has enough battery power to provide a sudden clean supply of current to ensure seamless operation of equipment, while power backup generators (which can take upwards of minutes to start) engage.

Electronic products for medical use must be designed for safety.

Minimum power leakage and interaction with other electronic devices must meet stringent safety requirements.

The MUPS-300 is both UL2601-1 and EN60601-1 certified to meet US and European safety standards.

Automatic voltage and frequency adjustment (240/110V), allows this UPS to be used almost anywhere in the world.

MUPS-300 has built-in power regulation and protection functions that can send alarm signals to the host machine whenever there are power discrepancies, shorts or overloads.

The MUPS-300 improves safety and system efficiency by reducing the risk of system downtime when power outages or spikes and surges threaten to destroy or corrupt data, thereby improving safety and lengthening the service life of equipment.
