The CT-500 is a rack-mount 5U chassis designed to meet the most stringent requirements for today's high-end server applications in the networking, telecomms and computer telephony industries.

The CT-500 is the latest rack-mount 5U chassis from Advantech, designed to meet the most stringent requirements for today's high-end server applications in the networking, telecomms and computer telephony industries.

A hot-swappable 3+1 840W ATX redundant power supply with dual AC inlets ensures nonstop operation.

Front-accessible and hot-swappable drive bays and an easy-to-install RAID controller enables users to implement an all-in-one server and RAID subsystem solution for industrial grade server applications.

In addition, the CT-500 can accommodate a 20-slot PCI/ISAbus passive backplane for high-density applications, or a standard ATX motherboard version, offering space for more full-length add-in cards.

Designed to withstand the harshest environments, the unit is also equipped with three hot-swap 115ft3/min fans in the middle of the chassis and a further three blowers which extract heat from the rear of the chassis, significantly improving ventilation.

Available now, the CT-500 can operate at temperatures ranging from +16 to +50C.
