‘Compliance Testing’

An Electronicstalk guide

Start with the news release ChipSESD devices help to protect mobile phones from Tyco Electronics, which we summarised at the time by saying "Tyco's 0201- and 0402-size ChipSESD devices help to protect: mobile phones, digital cameras and camcorders, computer I/O ports, keypads, low-voltage DC lines, speakers, headphones and microphones.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release CPM for true co-analysis of the chip and system from Apache Design Solutions: "Apache Design Solutions has released CPM v2.0, its next-generation Chip Power Model (CPM) intended for true co-analysis/co-optimisation of the chip, package and system. ".

In February 2011, we covered the news from Saelig - take a look at Signal generator for RandD, aerospace and defence which says: "Saelig has introduced Apsin20G, a low-noise, ultra-fast-switching microwave signal generator covering a frequency range from 10MHz up to 20GHz, which simplifies synchronising within test environments.".

Take a look also at the news release from Maxim Integrated Products, Hot-swap controller for 1 to 16V backplanes, as well as Parametric test systems simplify test-plan setup from Keithley Instruments, and Quantum Composers launches current pulse generator from Quantum Composers.
