The rBOX104 DIN-rail embedded system offers four PoE ports for intelligent transportation systems, power plant automation, facility-monitoring systems, IP video surveillance, APs and intercoms.

Built for rugged work environments, the fanless rBOX104 supports extra-low-power Intel Atom processors Z510PT (1.1GHz) or Z520PT (1.33GHz) with extended temperature range of -40 to 70C for use in extremely hot or cold environments.

Multiple built-in serial ports, high-speed LANs and USB 2.0 ports enable fast and efficient data computation, communication and acquisition.

The rBOX104 features SNMP V1/V2c support for secured network management.

To streamline implementation of management applications, Axiomtek has launched the Axview monitoring software package, enabling customers to build their own management systems easily and quickly.

This durable unit supports Power-over-Ethernet on ports 1 to 4, which can power IEEE802.3af-compliant powered devices and transmit data simultaneously, saving on wiring costs.

It especially suits outdoor applications such as PoE IP camera, PoE access point and intercoms.

The rBOX104 features a redundant Ethernet LAN connection for greater availability and reliability.

The IP30-rated fanless embedded system meets Safety Agency requirements and has passed heavy industrial EMI/EMS testing.

To fulfill different application needs, the rBOX104 comes with complete expandability, including two COM ports, one 10/100/1,000Mbps Ethernet with magnetic isolation protection, two USB 2.0 ports, four PoE (IEEE802.3af) ports, one VGA output and one Compactflash socket.

In addition, the rBOX104 comes equipped with redundant power input via a 48V DC terminal block.

Pre-installed with Linux, Windows CE 6.0 or Windows XP Embedded, the rBOX104 provides programmers with an environment for developing application software at a lower cost.

Based on SNMP protocols, Axview makes it easy for system administrators to manage and monitor remote computers.

Axview also contains a variety of management utilities, agent services and libraries.
