The HighWire 400p/M DKV is a developers kit for the Wind River Systems VxWorks real-time operating system (RTOS). The HW400p/M DKV combines SBE's HW400p/M PCI core processor with a software board support package tailored to developers who build embedded communications solutions using VxWorks RTOS.

The HW400p/M core-processing platform combines a standardised PCI mezzanine Card (PMC) site with a full featured 333MHz PowerPC processor core in a PCI form factor board.

The flexibility of the HW400p/M PMC modular I/O, coupled with Wind River's VxWorks, the most widely adopted real-time operating system in the embedded industry, enables developers using the HW400p/M DKV to reduce risk and accelerate development of next generation networking smart devices by rapidly integrating off the shelf components.
