An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release Single-board computers based on i7 processors from Advantech, which we summarised at the time by saying "Advantech, a manufacturer of telecom computing blades and multi-core network processor platforms, has unveiled two new products based on the latest Intel Core i7 processors.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release H.264 boards ideal for remote monitoring tasks from Advanced Micro Peripherals: "Advanced Micro Peripherals has introduced two H.264 (MPEG-4 Part 10 AVC) frame grabber/video codec boards for the PC/104-Plus and mini PCI markets.".
In October 2010, we covered the news from Aitech Defense Systems - take a look at Single-board computer features rugged design which says: "Aitech Defense Systems has introduced a 6U VPX SBC suitable for radar system boot computers, sonar processors, video and graphics engines and single-board process and machine control applications. ".
Take a look also at the news release from ST Microelectronics, Green Hills supports ST Microelectronics' MPUs, as well as Processor targets industrial and medical devices from Analog Devices, and System-on-Chip for engineered digital radios from Toumaz Technology.
