Several months prior to that, we featured the news release TED releases Virtex-5 PCI Express platforms from Tokyo Electron Device: "Tokyo Electron Device (TED) has announced the release of three inrevium Virtex-5 high-density PCI Express platforms.".
In November 2008, we covered the news from Fujitsu Microelectronics Europe - take a look at Fujitsu develops the MB86H55 and MB86H56 which says: "Fujitsu Microelectronics Europe (FME) has designed two devices that encode and decode full high-definition (HD) (1920 dots x 1080 lines) video in H.264 format. ".
