Oscillators raise frequency and performance

Temex has released a wide range of high-frequency voltage-controlled crystal oscillators (VCXOs) and high-performance oven-controlled crystal oscillators (OCXOs)

Temex's 10MHz OCXOs are designed for testing and measurement, switches, GPS synchronisation applications, Vsats and digital audio broadcasting infrastructures. Ideal for switches and synchronisation applications, the DOC5079 is a very cost-effective OCXO solution. This model has a temperature drift of less than 200ppb.

Its phase noise is at -90dBc/Hz at 10Hz, and its aging is less than 500 ppb per year.

DOC5079 is manufactured in a compact 25.4 x 22 x 10mm surface-mount package.

The DOC5525 is a low noise OCXO solution ideally suited for test and measurement applications.

Phase noise performance is the most critical parameter for testing applications.

This model has an excellent phase noise performance at -127dBc/Hz at 10Hz max.

Its temperature drift is at 20ppb and its aging is less than 100ppb per year.

This OXCO is manufactured in a compact 25.4 x 22 x 15mm SMD package.

Ideally suited for repeaters and WCDMA BTS applications, the DOC5383 is a cost-effective SC-cut OCXO.

Frequency stability versus temperature drift is the most critical parameter for broadband applications.

Temex's DOC5383 temperature drift is down to 10ppb maximum.

Its phase noise is at -120dBc/Hz at 10Hz.

Finally, this model's aging is down to 100ppb per year.

DOC5383 is available in a 36 x 26 x 18mm metallic through hole package.

The DOC5204 is a high-stability OCXO for CDMA, Vsat and switching applications.

These kinds of applications typically require a very high thermal stability and optimal aging characteristics.

This model's temperature drift is down to 0.2 ppb and aging is down to less than 20ppb per year.

Phase noise performance for this device is -120dBc/Hz at 10Hz.

It is manufactured in a 50 x 50 x 38mm metallic through hole package.

Thanks to its experience and knowhow in crystal frequency products, Temex also provides high performance VCXOs for broadband, broadcasting and telecomms applications.

The QEV66 VCXO generates frequencies between 80 and 240MHz, with a very low phase noise (typically -98dBc at 100Hz) and an absolute pulling range of +/-50ppm.

This high-performance VCXO is available with an LVPECL or HCMOS output, and is manufactured in the industry standard 14 x 9 x 3mm SMD package ensuring simplicity of integration.

The QEV66 VCXO, characterised by a frequency stability of +/-15ppm, is ideally suited for telecomms basestations and repeaters and for radio-links for telecomms, broadband, and broadcasting applications.

These high performance VCXOs are supplied on a custom design basis, with a design-to-prototype leadtime of four to six weeks.

All components are RoHS compliant and available in a fully lead-free version.
