‘Ocxo’

An Electronicstalk guide

Start with the news release Surface-mount OCXO suits digital signal processors from IQD Frequency Products , which we summarised at the time by saying "IQD has launched what it claims is the world's smallest surface-mount OCXO for applications such as digital signal processors, telecommunications transmission hubs and cellular base stations.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Precision Devices shows OCXO at microwave event from Precision Devices: "Precision Devices is exhibiting an ultra-low-noise crystal oscillator (OCXO) for demanding applications such as telecoms base stations and phase-locked-loop references at European Microwave Week.".

In April 2010, we covered the news from Link Microtek - take a look at Oscillators feature onboard GPS receiver which says: "Link Microtek has announced a range of global positioning system disciplined oscillators (GPSDOs).".

Take a look also at the news release from Precision Devices, OCXO-100 crystal oscillator has low phase noise, as well as Sub-miniature OCXO configured for mobile systems from Bliley Technologies, and Saelig offers the APSIN6000 signal generator from Saelig Company.
