An Electronicstalk guide

Start with the news release VGA for wireless infrastructure transceivers from Maxim Integrated Products, which we summarised at the time by saying "Maxim Integrated Products has introduced the MAX2062, a fully programmable, multistate, dual-channel, analogue and digital IF/RF variable-gain amplifier suitable for automatic gain control circuits.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Pulse unveils NFC stamp antenna for mobile phones from Pulse: "At Electronica 2010, Pulse will introduce its NFC (near field communication) stamp antenna for mobile phones and portable wireless devices. ".

In October 2010, we covered the news from U-blox - take a look at U-blox launches ultra-fast wireless modems which says: "U-blox has introduced a range of small, ultra-fast wireless modems for high-bandwidth applications such as mobile computing, car infotainment, telematics systems and handheld terminals.".

Take a look also at the news release from Peregrine Semiconductor, Peregrine introduces SP6T radio-frequency switch, as well as Reference design for femtocell product designers from Lime Microsystems, and VGA suits AGC circuits in wireless infrastructures from Maxim Integrated Products.
