Fairchild Semiconductor will demonstrate a new online interactive design tool, advanced product innovations and present technical papers this week at PCIM Europe 2004 in Nuremberg, Germany.

Fairchild Semiconductor will demonstrate a new online interactive design tool, advanced product innovations and present technical papers this week at PCIM Europe 2004 in Nuremberg, Germany.

Exhibiting in booth 601, Fairchild will showcase additions to its power portfolio and demonstrate the performance of these advanced power products in a variety of systems.

These demos offer a sampling of Fairchild's most innovative products spanning the automotive, industrial, communications, computing, and consumer markets.

Fairchild will also demonstrate their suite of web-based design tools that enable designers to dramatically reduce design cycle times and speed time-to-market.

Among these tools is Fairchild's new Power Supply Toolkit, a state-of-the-art online tool which includes tutorials, selection tools, and design aids to support designers with their specific applications requirements.

Fairchild will present technical papers based on new technologies on 25th and 26th May.

Presentations and technical sessions include: "New high voltage power mosfet: Fairchild's SuperFET"; "Investigations of the influence of PCB layout parasitic inductances in DC/DC convertors on efficiency"; "The road to 200 amp at 1V VRM"; "Fairchild's Smart Power Module (SPM) technology: innovation for enhanced system performance"; and "Shoot-through analysis with parasitic inductance" in a poster/dialogue session.
