8 December 2009 - Infineon is to supply TPM (Trusted Platform Module) security chips that have passed stringent security tests and are certified by the Trusted Computing Group (TCG).
29 May 2009 - BMW Forschung und Technik, Continental, Daimler, Infineon Technologies and Robert Bosch have formed the Radar on Chip for Cars (RoCC) technology cooperation project, with an aim to increase driving safety by making reliable radar systems available in all vehicle classes.
