Start with the news release Sysgo offers OS for Leon processor-based platforms from Sysgo, which we summarised at the time by saying "Sysgo has announced the availability of its flagship product PikeOS, for the Leon processor-based platforms. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Operating system suits use in harsh environments from Sysgo: "The initial joint project involved the installation of PikeOS together with PIP10 in a safety-critical application for drive assistance in a huge excavator. ".
 
In October 2007, we covered the news from Geensys - take a look at Merger combines embedded companies which says: "Geensys will provide customers with a complete, outsourced embedded product design and realisation service.".
