Meter adds a high-speed optical input power measurement capability to multi-application test system.

A new optical power meter adds a high-speed optical input power measurement capability to the Yokogawa AQ2200 Series multi-application test system.

The new AQ2200-215 is an optical power meter module that covers high optical power levels up to +30dBm and features high-speed sampling and various data-processing functions.

It is designed for use in conjunction with Yokogawa AQ2200 Series modules and the AQ6370 optical spectrum analyser, allowing a complete measurement system to be configured for different applications.

The resulting system is an ideal measurement tool for optical output power measurement and margin testing of WDM transmission equipment, output power and gain measurements of optical fibre amplifiers, and optical output power measurement of high power optical transmitters.

Key performance features of the AQ2200-215 include high power measurement at up to +30dBm and high-speed sampling at 10,000 points per second.

A choice of optical connectors includes FC, SC, MU and LC types.
