Passives on show at Electronica

Wire-wound inductors go lead-free
The NLV32 and NLCV32 SMD are lead-free wire-wound inductors for signal lines.
On show at Electronica 2004 will be its TPL series of transponder coils.
Prompted by new legislation in the USA that requires new vehicles to be fitted with a low tyre pressure warning system as a safety device, TDK has developed its TPL series of transponder coils.
The TPL series is ideal for automotive systems including tyre pressure monitoring systems, passive keyless entry devices and engine immobilisers.
For telecomms applications TDK supplies a range of passive components for cellular phones, basestations and wireless applications (WLAN and Bluetooth).
On show at Electronica 2004 will be TDK's new BCS series of optical sensors for brightness adjustment and lighting system control.
The BCS series is ideal for brightness control of LCD monitors, PDAs, digital cameras or mobile phone keypads for power conservation.
Also on show will be the MLG/MLK series of tiny high performance multilayer coils with extended inductance range, ideal for mobile communication devices as well as the VLF series of SMD power inductors with a tiny surface mount area, ideal for mobile phones and other portable devices where board area is critical.
For audio/video applications, TDK will be displaying a range of passive electronic components for flat panel TVs and DVD recorders, including EMI filters for HDMI interfaces.
For home appliance systems TDK will be displaying a selection of passive electronic components such as sensors, nebulisers, magnets, transformers andline filters.
In line with the WEEE and RoHS Directives, TDK offers lead-free products that accommodate lead-free solder for all these applications.
