‘Dvd Recorders’
An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release DSPs allow efficient battery-powered system design from Texas Instruments, which we summarised at the time by saying "Allowing the design of energy-efficient portable and battery-powered applications, Texas has launched the TMS320C5504 and TMS320C5505 150MHz digital signal processors (DSPs).". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Audio IP suits portable media players and more from Synopsys: "Synopsys has added the Designware 96dB Hi-Fi Audio IP in the 40nm and 55nm process technologies to its portfolio of high-quality audio IP solutions for consumer electronic applications.".
In July 2010, we covered the news from Wolfson Microelectronics - take a look at Audio ADCs for home entertainment applications which says: "Wolfson Microelectronics has announced its latest analogue-to-digital converters (ADCs), the WM8788 and WM8789, both of which deliver quality audio to home entertainment applications. ".
Take a look also at the news release from Octasic, Octasic develops power-efficient DSP solutions, as well as AMP video codec board encodes four inputs from Advanced Micro Peripherals, and Texas adds DM368 to DM36x DaVinci encoder range from Texas Instruments.
