Microchip lines go online and to Mexico
Symmetry Electronics has signed an agreement to add Microchip Technology to its growing list of suppliers
Under the terms of the agreement, Symmetry Electronics is authorised to promote and sell Microchip's complete line of embedded semiconductor and development-tool products, including: PIC microcontrollers and dsPIC Digital Signal Controllers (DSCs), analogue and interface semiconductors, EEPROM nonvolatile memory and MPLAB development tools, through its e-commerce website SemiconductorStore, and throughout Mexico.

In addition to being the world's number-one provider of 8bit microcontroller units, Microchip recently unveiled their 16bit PIC24 microcontroller line, which is designed to be a broad platform that will serve the requirements of engineers for many years while at the same time keeping costs low.
