Rhopoint Components has launched a new line of custom reed-switch-based proximity sensors.

The 5700 Series, from Coto Technology, provides custom solutions for applications including door/lid sensing in laptop computers, cell phones and white goods; level sensing for fluid reservoirs; proximity sensing in security systems, elevators and industrial equipment and metering of fluid flow, electricity and speed.

The 5700 series switches from 10 to 70W and is available with a wide range of pull-in and release sensitivities.
