Omron Electronics has named Eurodis HB as its number one distributor for the UK and Ireland for 2000.

Omron Electronics has named Eurodis HB as its number one distributor for the UK and Ireland for 2000.

Eurodis HB, took more than 2.5 million components from Omron during the 12-month period commencing April 2000, representing a 70% rise on the previous 12 months and a 38% growth in sales volumes.

Alex Grout, Distribution Manager at Omron said: "Eurodis HB has continually proved throughout the year that their commitment to excellent customer service and significant sales growth is a successful formula".

He continued: "Last year they repeatedly over performed against budget so we are now looking forward to an exciting and rewarding 2001 with them".

In addition to the success that Eurodis HB has achieved in the UK market, Eurodis Electron Group's sales of Omron components throughout Europe has also increased significantly.
