Gokhale takes charge in the UK and Ireland

Ajit Gokhale, a 16-year National Instruments veteran, is the company's new UK and Ireland Managing Director.

National Instruments has announced the appointment of Ajit Gokhale as UK and Ireland Managing Director.

Gokhale is a 16-year National Instruments veteran, holding a number of key strategic management positions at NI corporate headquarters in Austin, Texas during the past two decades.

His career at NI, spanning many teams across research and development, sales and marketing, has given him broad knowledge and experience of NI technology, markets and customers.

More recently, he has played a leadership role in developing, launching and marketing new data acquisition products for NI, including next generation M Series and USB.

Gokhale was born in India and raised in Connecticut, USA, and he holds a degree in electrical engineering from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the world-class educational institution for teaching and research in science and technology).
